Unleashing his own artistry, our talented Champagne Bar Manager Jarod Senior marked the occasion with an exciting new signature cocktail called “The Starry Night”, after one of Van Gogh’s most iconic masterpieces.

“The Starry Night”, which hangs on the walls of the prestigious MoMA Museum in New York, is one of the most recognized paintings in the history of Western culture. It features a sunrise scene with vibrant blues and lavender fields, inspired by Van Gogh’s long stay in Provence, in the south of France (a place where Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour takes a lot of its culinary cues from).

As a nod to this sunrise, our own Starry Night cocktail shifts from blue to purple, as our bartender pours it in your glass. It artfully blends Joseph Cartron Crème de Pêche, Butterfly Pea Flower Syrup, Lemon and Egg White ($22) and is available every Friday and Saturday night in Champagne Bar.
